The second season was not as good as the first but it was not train wreck by any means. Season three paves the way for the fourth season and creating the villain Bullseye. The season is brutal and probably more like season 1, which is a good thing. Fisk is the best villain but they need to shake it up next season.

This show can be so hard to watch at times. I honestly get tired of watching Matt get his ass kicked. Yes, he does plenty of ass kicking himself, but there?s just something about the grittiness of it all. This is a good and bad thing. I like the show, but sometimes I don?t look forward to watching the next episode.
Overall this was a good season. I found just a few problems with story flow or background asides. I also roll my eyes at the astounding ability of Fisk to get to everyone every time all the time. I know it?s a comic show but come on.
Speaking of comic, can you really call Matt/Daredevil a superhero? He?s a normal guy who?s only real special ability is super hearing. He can fight well, but not that much better than any well-trained fighter. Sometimes I wish he was a little more super, I guess.
Sadly, the show has been cancelled despite the great reception to season 3. Tells me that they planned it ahead of time. Did it really get that many less views than previous seasons? Does Netflix release stats?
I never watched The Defenders. I wonder if I missed something leading into this.
